Stories from the record
Changing ways to enjoy the river
Ttukseom developed as a place for watersports and summer recreation. In 1989, the first outdoor pool among Hangang parks opened here. The river became a place for active leisure as well as transport and water supply.
The long shape called Jabeolle
The viewing and cultural facility is known for its curved, caterpillar-like form. It connects river views with cultural use. Compare the distant silhouette with the actual entrances and routes to understand form and function.
Read the river at different heights
At the water's edge you notice currents and plants; from higher up, bridges and the skyline dominate. Move between viewpoints. The park's spaces provide different ways of experiencing the same river.
